When you first start thinking about making money online, it’s a big question of what you want to do first. There are many ways of making money online, but when it comes to creating content for money, and earning income from your content gaining popularity, usually theres two different methods of delivering content.
Videos Or Writing
That’s right, and this is also known as “Youtube or Blogging”. Though, there is a difference. The difference is, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. Just kidding. Let’s start from worst to best.
The best part of blogging is that you can monetize your content with ads from any monetization platform. If you don’t like Adsense you can switch to affiliate marketing. If you don’t like the hosting provider your with you can switch to another hosting provider. There is far more customization in this method. Plus you can write faster than you can make videos. I can write one post per day and do that for a full year. Sometimes it takes 3 days to put out a video, so you can really see the difference. The one problem though is that hosting providers cost money, where with Youtube it’s free. So you’ll definitely need to have a good reliable and affordable hosting provider, with 24/7 support. That’s why I recommend Godaddy for starting out, they have plans starting at only $5/month, plus they are the biggest hosting provider in the world with 99.9% uptime.
In this category, you use a platform that has gained tons of views over the years, the one and only platform that everyone uses for video content. There is no limit to any file size of video you can upload, plus you can upload 1080p quality or even 8k quality, the sky is the limit. You can upload as many videos as you want. You can make any amount of money. You can get thousands to millions of subscribers. Everything is put into an easy-to-use interface. The only problem is that it can take hours to upload a video, depending on the content your dealing with. Plus, your videos must be interesting, otherwise your not going anywhere any time soon. You can only monetize your videos with Adsense, but you can get sponsored too. You can use affiliate links in the description of your video. Depending on your content, you could get demonetized depending on the kind of videos you upload, so everything’s gotta be family-safe content.
So you probably know most of that information already, but you really have a choice. You can even do both Blogging and Youtube, which I am doing right now. But I think it would be easier for someone starting out to stick to one topic, or Niche. That’s just what I think, you do what you want. I personally think Youtube is the better way to go because everything is free. If you had to cancel your credit cards and didn’t have access to a computer for a few months, your content would stay up no matter what. There’s a lot of piece of mind with a free platform. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this post, if you did, please don’t forget to share this post with your friends on Facebook and Twitter and bookmark it if you liked it enough. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers.
